THE MANATEE MILES
Manatee County's Annual United Way 5K Walk

Manatee County

Manatee County Government employees have a long history of proudly supporting United Way of Manatee County, donating over $100,000 annually. This is accomplished in many ways; through a payroll deduction program, departmental events like craft and bake sales, and county wide events like The Manatee Miles.

Spend a morning in beautiful Robinson Preserve for the benefit of our community, won’t you join us and walk the Manatee Miles?

About Robinson Preserve

Robinson Preserve is located in western Manatee County, a few miles west of downtown Bradenton. It features rare saltern habitat, miles of trails to explore, and lush mangrove forests.  Robinson Preserve is a 487-acre preserve that has undergone an incredible transformation from disturbed farmland to coastal and wetland habitats.

Robinson Preserve features numerous recreational opportunities for the community. Resources for low-impact environmental activities include hiking and biking trails and a canoe/kayak launch. Additional amenities include observational towers and platforms, picnic areas, and a visitors center.

Thank you to the NATURAL RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of Manatee County for all of their support and assistance!!!
